  • Reflexology

Reflexology is a technique where we massage and apply pressure to the hands and feet. The belief being that specific areas within the hands and feet correlate to physical body parts, organs and systems.

The main health benefit is a state of relaxation where the body can stimulate self healing. Also includes increased circulation, improved energy and neural feedback which helps with pain relief.

  • Reikki

Reiki is a well known energetic modality originating in Japan and developed by Mike Usui.

It is a relaxing therapy applied through non manipulative and non invasive touch. Hands are gently laid on or near to the body whilst fully clothed, working over the front and back of the body in slow considered hand placement.

Reiki sessions are shown to promote relaxation which leads to stress and anxiety reduction. On a physical level it regulates the cardio vascular system and can help with pain reduction.

  • Hot Stone Massage

A full body massage is performed with Basalt rocks. Basalt is rich in magnesium and iron and the stones leach these properties into the fascia during the long, soothing massage strokes.

The heat helps with the deep penetration through the tissue layers meaning chronic or problem areas can be targeted with minimal pain. If you have no complaints the heat and pace of this treatment makes for a deeply relaxing experience and it is detoxifying in nature.

  • Thermo-Auricular Therapy

Thermo-Auricular Therapy or Ear Candling is known for its use in treatment of headaches, tinnitus, general pain or blockages through the sinuses. I also prescribe candling to stimulate healing and well being from a spiritual level due to the proximity to the facial Marmas.

After an examination you will lay on the table and I gently place the lit candle into your ear canal. This ‘plug’ combined with the suction from the flame creates a gentle vibration which can be felt on the ear drum. It is a warm, soothing sensation designed to balance any misaligned pressures within the whole Sinus system and regulate Shringatika Marma .

  • Swedish Massage

Swedish or Relaxation massage is one of the most well known and popular type of massage today.

Most often used for relaxation, to relieve stress and reduce pain it is a full body treatment covering all your muscles gently.

  • Hey Em! I did it, got through my whole physical and body feels sore (it was hard) but I completed everything!!! Thank you so much for your treatments over the past few weeks, I know I couldn’t have gotten through today without your help. Now I can book in one of those pretty massages you were telling me about, I deserve it."

    - Jen C

  • Usually after a massage I feel pretty sore and have always had these huge headaches, I thought this was normal - you know - no pain no gain. Emma told me that that doesn’t need to happen, that she could still provide a remedial massage but take note of my body response and treat accordingly, no headaches and extra soreness after. I was skeptical but she was right. No headache after and no feeling fatigued and sick. My body feels great! I am excited for my next treatment instead of feeling like its something that I have to do. Thank you Emma. Cannot wait for my next massage!

  • “I am more than happy to recommend Emma from my reflexology treatment received. The treatment was invigorating and yet very soothing which has given me a wonderful boost following a stressful week at work.   Emma was very thorough and extremely attentive towards my needs. She also gave me practical advise and tips to help me with my marathon training. My feet now feel amazing. Thanks Emma.”

  • I cannot recommend Emma highly enough. Emma's knowledge and understanding of the human body is immense. Her massages are the highlight of my month and I'm always excited each time I get a reminder message.
